HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We spent New Year's Eve at our home.  Matt, Kristin, Matisyn and Emilyn, Jerry, Elizabeth and Cliff and Mom and Dad joined us for dinner.  We made "Bajio" style burritos and salads.  Dave made some killer barbacoa spicy beef!  It was awesome!  Complete with home-made beans and all the fixings.   We enjoyed desserts and games.  The kids kept busy with Ping-Pong and toys in the basement.

I loved Cliff's new t-shirt - it said,
"Next year I'm installing a windshield on the sled!"
It was covered in puff paint bugs.  He always comes up with something.

CJ went to a dance during part of the evening -
driven by his chauffeur, Mr. Jerry, accompanied by KC the navigator.

As the new year approached, we prepared the fine drinks.......it's not just apple anymore.
We had peach, black current and I think a berry one too.

Liz and Cliff provided the "fireworks" and in that one special moment,
2010 was gone and we welcomed 2011.

Just a little bit after midnight, we were joined by Mike, Kenzie and Cassidy.  They had brought in the New Year with Wendy who was at work.  We spent the rest of the night in a hand and foot marathon.  Liz and Cliff were planning on spending the night, so we played cards until the wee hours of the morning.

I can say with certainty that I was pretty happy to see the end of 2010.
I hope that we have just a little less chaos, stress and drama in 2011.
